About Us

Our Story

Tides for Reproductive Freedom started in 2018 when seven individuals came together to dream about what an abortion fund founded by people who have had abortions, Black, Indigenous, and Queer people could look like. Since then we have seen weddings, births, deaths, career changes, steps down, returns to school, a pandemic, the fall of Roe, and the opportunity to create something better than Roe.

We are educators, clinic staff, writers, activists, organizers, and artists- and we are currently four people. Each of us bring a unique approach to abortion funding with all of us having at least a decade's worth of experience in reproductive justice.

We are excited to connect with you! Since we are still building, please give us a week to respond to your emails unless it is specifically about receiving abortion funding.
